The Health and Welfare Council of Valencia needed an information system to give support to the “The Biomedical Investigation Map within the Valencia Region".
CSD after proving to be the successful bidder by presenting the best offer in the public tender launched by the Health and Welfare Council to meet said needs, initiated analysis and development of the information system.
CSD developed the system MISABIO based on Open Source technology and the internet, catering to the requirements and needs of the Regional Ministry for Health. The system consists of two differentiating areas.
On one hand, it provides a repository of information about the condition of Biomedical Investigation within the Valencia Region. It stores information regarding Investigation Centres, Investigation Groups and Investigators. On the other hand, it monitors the position of Biomedical investigation, showing diverse indicators that allow to evaluate the situation of Health and Biomedical Investigation within the Valencia Region.
Currently, CSD continues supporting and evolving the application from its initial development, proving the satisfaction of and trust gained by the Regional Ministry for Health .
