What is SICA?

SICA is a generic Integrated Management of Professional Colleges of Architects and Quantity Surveyors. The system contemplates and centralizes a wide variety of functionalities: General Registration Entry and Exit, maintenance of colegees, case processing, calculation of fees and specific fees for professional work, client management / third, Training and Courses, Library Management, Invoice Management.

This system also provides robust solutions for signature and digital signature verification of documents, enabling telematic interaction between colleges, Professional and Public Administration, and facilitating the delivery and management of procedures without having to travel outside the office.

What is an ERP?

The enterprise resource planning, or ERP (for its acronym in English, Enterprise resource planning) are information management systems that integrate and manage many of the businesses associated with the operations of production and distribution aspects of a company committed in the production of goods or services.

Enterprise Resource Planning is a term derived from manufacturing resource planning (MRPII) and followed by the Material Requirements Planning (MRP). ERP typically handle manufacturing, logistics, distribution, inventory, shipping, billing and accounting of the company. However, Enterprise Resource Planning or ERP software can intervene in the control of many business activities including sales, deliveries, payments, production, inventory management, quality management and human resource management.

ERP systems are occasionally called back office as they indicate that the client and the general public are not directly involved. This system is, in contrast to the open system data (front office), which creates an administrative relationship of the consumer or customer service (CRM), a system that deals directly with customers, or the eBusiness systems such as electronic commerce, electronic administration, electronic communications and e-finance, it is also a system that deals directly with suppliers, providing not only an administrative relationship with them (SRM).

Omnibus Law

On June 12, 2009 the Council of Ministers approved the draft Law 47 amendments to state law to adapt to the provisions of the Services Directive.

The so-called Omnibus law aims to promote entrepreneurship, competition and the internationalization of Spanish small and medium enterprises in the service sector, which accounts for 66% of GDP and employment in Spain.

The project emphasizes the reform of the law governing professional associations, which represent about one million professionals, who represent 6.1% of total employment and 30% of university employment.
